Weston Artifacts, 3rd Floor
Dr. Edward Weston is an important figure in the history of NJIT. He was on of the founders and trustees of the Newark Technical School, which has evolved into NJIT. The university is fortunate that Dr. Weston bequeathed not only his personal papers to the library, but many of his inventions and lab equipment as well.
These artifacts may be found throughout the campus, but many remain in the library in three locations: the Rare Book Room [Find It] on the first floor; the Weston Museum [Find It] in the Central Avenue Building just outside of the library entrance; and in the small exhibit room near the elevator on the third floor [Find It] .
